Action Plan:
Security Personnel

Temperature check and hand sanitizer

  • Following Gates will be open:

      • Main Gate (Pedestrian Front Gate)

      • Main Gate (Vehicle Gate)

      • South Gate (Back Gate)

  • All Entrances to have mandatory hand hygiene (sanitizer dispenser) and thermal screening provisions.

  • Only asymptomatic students/staff/visitors shall be allowed entry

Provision of Sanitizers in various other locations of the campus

Sanitizers will be provided at the:

  • Entrances of Every Block

  • Entrances of Every Office

  • Entrances of Every Cafeteria

  • Lifts on ground floor

  • Reception counters

No entry without masks

  • Entry into campus without masks is not permitted

  • Entry into any building without mask is not permitted

Student movement

Students shall be prohibited from gathering in groups in the

  • Classrooms

  • Corridors

  • Cafeterias

  • Parking lots

Queuing system

Strict queuing system to be followed in

  • In cafeterias

  • While waiting for lifts

  • Campus Stores

Restriction of persons in the lifts / elevators

  • Max. no. of persons to be allowed to be decided depending on size of lift.

  • Physical distancing norms to be maintained by proper marking on the floor of elevators
    (by Facilities Management Team)

Exit of students after class hours

Exit of students out of campus after class hours, is encouraged

If any case/ suspected case is reported

  • Evacuation to be done in a systematic manner, maintaining calm.

  • Classroom to be fumigated and sealed for 48 hours

  • Class teacher to initiate the remaining protocol: Informing parents and sending students home immediately

  • Protocol Monitoring Team (PMT) to be informed (Annexure A)

More than a case is reported

  • Disinfection procedure will be done in areas/places occupied and visited by the patient in last 48 hours and the work will be resumed as per protocol.

  • In case of larger number of cases being reported, the whole block or building, as the case may be, will be disinfected and sealed

Role of Security Personal on violation of norms

Other than the PMT, the Security Personnel shall be authorized to intervene as and when they observe any violation of the Protocol norms, with due information to PMT (Annexure A)

Fumigation of Classroom in case of COVID suspect

  • Fumigation to be done

  • Classroom to be sealed for 48 hours

Fumigation of Campus

Daily fumigation - for Dengue and COVID-19

Inspection of Restrooms

Periodic Spot-Inspection of restrooms to be done and problems, if any, to be reported
